About Us
Bisley Primary School is a Voluntary Aided Church of England School, with pupils starting at the age of four and staying with us until they go to senior school after their eleventh birthday. Bisley C of E (VA) Primary is a growing school; we have recently moved from being a 45 pan intake to a 60 pan. Pupils are taught in pure year groups and we work tirelessly as a team to ensure that all children leave Bisley being the best they can be.
Bisley C of E (VA) Primary School was built in 1967 and is located in a quiet residential area at the end of a cul-de-sac. Since the original build the school has had three extensions. The first of these was to house our Reception classes and means that when pupils enter Bisley they have their own complete area to explore. The next extension was the creation of the Year 6 wing. Importantly, this gives the oldest children space to move, learn, create and develop as young people. Whilst they are still located next to Year 5 and the school hall they enjoy having their own entrance which helps prepare them for their transition to secondary. The final extension was completed in September 2015 and contains the two Year 3 classrooms, one Year 2 classroom and the staff room. The new classrooms are spacious, light and airy and overlook the large playing field at the rear of the school.
Bisley C of E (VA) Primary is proud to be part of the parish of St John Baptist Church in Bisley which is part of the Diocese of Guildford. As a school we work closely with the church as well as our local community in Bisley. We are part of the Woking Schools Learning Partnership and benefit hugely from working closely with other local schools.
